A complete college admission essay review, in minutes.

Twenty-three checks, six criteria, every sentence. A draft goes in and the whole review comes back: the essay marked line by line, each criterion scored and written out, and a ranked revision plan. Use it to sharpen your own read, and to get through a caseload of drafts without giving any of them less attention. It does not write the essay and it is not a chatbot.

What the report looks like

The marked paperThe reader's eye: a bar strip across the essay, taller and darker where the reader slowed, with eleven numbered pins. The essay with underlined sentences and numbered margin notes, each marked works or fix.
Every note is pinned to a sentence and labelled works or fix, so a student can act on it without you translating first. The strip above tracks where a reader slowed and where they stopped.
RubricThe rubric: a six-axis radar scoring 22 of 30, ringed by written assessments for each criterion.
Six criteria, scored and written out. The dashed ring is band 3, competent, so a student sees the gap rather than a grade.
Revision planThe revision plan: fixes ranked by payoff on the left, with a Keep panel listing what is already working, and two structural rebuilds on the right, each with a new opening written from the student's own material.
The fixes, ranked by payoff, and a Keep panel naming what is already working so a student does not revise it away. On the right, two structural rebuilds of the same material, each with an opening drawn from the student’s own sentences. Structural bets, never replacement essays.

What it catches

Twenty-three separate checks run on every essay: voice, specificity, reflection, memorability, structure, and what the essay actually says the student would bring to a campus.

The notes are specific enough to act on alone: told, not shown against the recovery paragraph, best image in essay against the taping ritual. Every essay includes a free re-read of the revised draft, so a student can work the plan and come back before they come to you.

Where you still come in

It reads the essay in front of it. It does not know the student, the list, or which of three ideas is the one worth writing. It will never tell them what a specific school wants, and it makes no claim about outcomes. That judgment is yours, and it is still waiting for you when they come back.

Also free, for everyone

The essay manager tracks every prompt for 267 colleges and the status of each essay in one place. Your students can keep their whole list there whether or not they ever buy a read.

How it fits your week

Before the session

The student opens your link and pastes the draft. The report comes back in minutes, and they see it in redacted form before paying your rate.

Between sessions

They work the ranked fixes, spend the free re-read, and arrive with draft three instead of draft one.

In the session

You spend the hour on what only you can do: the angle, the school fit, the list, the last read.

Try it on 3 of your own students’ drafts, free. Email us and we will put 3 reviews on your account the same day, with your code. Judge it on essays you already know before you hand it to anyone.
