Babson College essay review

Babson College asks every applicant for two school-specific essays for 2026-27, capped at 250 words maximum. A NudgeEssay review reads your draft against the Babson College prompt you pick, not against a general checklist: six rubric bands scored 1 to 5, notes on your own sentences in the margin, a map of where a reader's attention holds and where it drops, and a ranked list of fixes with the biggest one first. The first fix and the line a reader kept come back free; the full marked-up report is $49 for one essay or $299 for 20.

The Babson College prompts and deadlines below were read on Babson College's own admissions site on 2026-09-04. NudgeEssay is not affiliated with Babson College and makes no claim about any admissions decision.

What Babson College asks you to write

Word for word, from Babson College’s own admissions pages. Pick the one your draft answers in the box below and the read is judged against that prompt’s own asks.

  1. Supplement 1 · 500 words maximum, or a one-minute video

The Babson education prepares students to think and act entrepreneurially, preparing them for careers across a variety of industries including business, entrepreneurship, social innovation, and more. Tell us about your interest in studying business, including any relevant experience you have or what your career aspirations are, and how you feel Babson can help prepare you to make an impact in your chosen field of business.

Applicants may respond with either a traditional essay (500 words maximum) or a one-minute video; no preference is given to either format.

  2. Supplement 2 · 250 words maximum

A defining element of the Babson experience is learning and thriving in an equitable and inclusive community with a wide range of perspectives, experiences, and interests. Please share something about your background, lived experiences, or viewpoint(s) that speaks to: (1) your commitment to promoting access, connection, or understanding across differences; and/or (2) how you will contribute to and learn from Babson’s collaborative community.

What the review does to your Babson College essay

It reads the draft cold, the way a stranger with four hundred more files to get through reads it, and answers the question that decides the essay: what is still there a week later. Then it scores six rubric bands from 1 to 5, each with a short quote from your own essay that drove the band and two or three sentences on what would raise it.

It marks your own sentences in the margin, maps where a reader’s attention holds and where it drops across the draft, screens for the patterns that read as AI-written or consultant-written, names the stock archetypes the essay is falling into, and ranks the fixes with the biggest one first. It points at your own material and never writes a sentence for you to paste.

Prompt fit is judged first, before any opinion of the writing: each distinct ask in the Babson College prompt is checked separately, because an essay aimed near the prompt rather than at it is the most common fatal miss in a paid draft.

All 23 checks are listed on what the review checks. Seven complete reports on sample essays are published unedited, exactly as the engine wrote them, on the samples page, and what a college essay grader leaves out explains where the six bands stop and the read begins.

What Babson College reports about admissions

Babson College admits 17.1% of applicants. The middle 50% of enrolled students scored 1390-1530 on the SAT and 31-34 on the ACT.

From the federal College Scorecard, pulled 2026-09-17. Score figures describe enrolled students, not applicants and not admits, and they are not a cutoff. No admission probability is stated anywhere on this site, because colleges do not publish admit rates conditional on a score, so any single percentage would be invented. The free chance me tool sorts a list into reaches, targets and likelies and gives no percentage either.

Questions

How many essays does Babson College require?
Babson College asks every applicant for two school-specific essays for 2026-27, capped at 250 words maximum. Each prompt is printed word for word on this page and on the Babson College requirements page, with the date it was last read on Babson College's own admissions site.
What is the word limit on the Babson College essays?
The limits run from 250 words to 500 words across the 2 prompts every Babson College applicant meets. Each prompt's own cap is printed beside it above, taken from Babson College's own admissions page. A range such as 150 to 250 words is counted at its upper number.
Is the review written against the Babson College prompts or against a general checklist?
Against the prompt you pick. You choose which Babson College prompt the draft answers before the read starts, and the report judges whether the essay answers that prompt's distinct asks, each one separately, before it forms any opinion of the writing. A well-made essay aimed near the prompt is the most common fatal miss in a paid draft, so prompt fit is judged first rather than last.
When is the Babson College application deadline?

Babson College publishes 4 rounds for 2026-27: EDII on January 4, 2027, Early Decision on November 1, 2026, Early Action on November 1, 2026, Regular Decision on January 4, 2027. Dates come from Babson College's own admissions site, read on 2026-09-04, and a college can move a date mid-cycle, so confirm on Babson College's own page before you rely on it.

No. NudgeEssay has no relationship with Babson College or with any other college, is not endorsed by Babson College, and does not predict, influence or guarantee any admissions decision. The Babson College prompts and deadlines on this page were read from Babson College's own public admissions pages and are linked to their source. The review is a reading of your writing, nothing more.
